StruxC-MC worked closely with the City of Naperville to carry out a comprehensive rehabilitation project of Moser Tower, which is located in downtown Naperville alongside the riverwalk. The tower is home to the Millennium Carillon, considered one of the four largest carillon structures in the United States.
Rehabilitation work on the tower included concrete repairs along the height of the tower on the interior and exterior, repairs/cleaning and flashing of the post-tensioning anchorages and steel connections, sealant replacement, steel stair replacement and painting with a high- performance paint system and installation of a urethane coating on concrete landings and basement slab.
In addition, StruxC-MC renovated the tower base and surrounding landscape. Work included waterproofing and repaving the plaza deck, new plantings, new stone planter walls and a new decorative stucco façade with Limestone capping along the entrance and base perimeter.
StruxC-MC understands the importance of Moser Tower to the Naperville community and we are extremely proud to have been involved in such a prestigious project.
